What would you like to know about me - this woman named Surely not all the mistakes I've made in life, the wrong choices, the poor outcomes? How about I share the good things instead! Well, are you sitting comfortably? Then I shall be begin. My life turned around when I first met Don - my 'lucky last' husband. (Yes, I've had more than one. But let's not go there.) Don has been the best thing ever, and we have been married now for 21 happy years. When we met, I didn't realise he was such an action man, happiest in the mountains, out in the wilderness, or in the ocean. Needless to say, I had never been hiking, scuba diving, white-water rafting, or snow-skiing. So life became one big adventure, with every holiday doing something physical.
As you can tell, I am a very happy, positive person and know the value of laughter. A little about my working life ...More than 25 years I worked in the corporate world as an advertising writer, which commanded a very lucrative salary package. It was a great job, and I was in my comfort zone thinking that I had a secure job for life!I learnt the hard way that it doesn't pay to get complacent when I was suddenly downsized after the company merged with a rival agency. That shock was the catalyst to start up my own consultancy, working from home. And to be frank, I never worked so hard in all my life trying to recreate the 'secure income' that had so unceremoniously been taken away from me! With all the long hours and stress, things came to a halt when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Being diagnosed with Breast Cancer was very scary, particularly as my mother had died a few years earlier after losing an 8 year battle with the disease. Because I believe that 'knowledge is power' I started researching ways to help me keep feeling well. During this quest I came across a proven wellness program from a renowned Health Science company - a program that included taking high-potency antioxidants and nutritional supplements to help maintain optimal health and well-being.
